Er. Satyaban Behera has more than 19 years of experience in academics, contributing teaching in IT / Computer Science domain and department level academic administration . He joined in the School of Information Science & Telecommunication(IST) of Gangadhar Meher University in November 2020 as Asst. Professor(IT & Computer Science) and heading the school. Prior to this he served for the G.M. Autonomous College(Department of IST) , Sambalpur, Odisha India since 2005 as an lecturer. During this period of service he also engaged in teaching to the students of Computer Science, MCA, MBA, MBA(Financial Management) and BBA for some selected theory and practical papers on requirement basis from time to time in addition to his normal duty in his host department. He served at RJ School of Management Studies(department of Computer Application) for around 1 year prior to joining at G.M. Autonomous College and taught the students of MCA and BCA . He also served CrossRoad Infosystem as a Software Professional for a small duration. He worked as an academic counselor for BCA and MCA programs of IGNOU and Cyber Security Program of Odisha State Open University on part time basis.
