The center reaches out to Old Age Homes of the Sambalpur district.
The center celebrated International Day of Older Person 2021 on 1st October 2020 with the borders of Dayamani Old Age Home, Sambalpur. Prof. N. Nagaraju, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, GMU, Mrs. Jugaleswari Dash, Registrar, Dr. Uma Charan Pati, Deputy Registrar, and Prof. Sibabrata Dash, former PI, Dr. Nibedita Nath, Co-PI along with the staff of OCGG visited and interacted with members of Old Age Home through a meeting and informal discussions.
The center also celebrated Diwali under the theme Dilwalonki Diwali on 4th November 2021 with the borders of Veer Surendra Sai Jaranivas at Huma, Sambalpur in collaboration with the NSS wing of the University.

The center participated in the Odisha Research conclave on 14th to 16th November 2022. PI, all Co-PI and research Associate presented their papers in ORC.
